Our History
Once part of another counseling group, the four founders of the Austin Group for Counseling ~ Eileen Carlo, Carol Castaldo, Jane Gelsi and Linda Spessotti (shown in photo) ~ formed their own counseling practice on December 1, 2003.
"We at the Austin Group for Counseling are up for the challenge!" was their statement as they announced the newly formed entity. "Our expertise, our caring and commitment remain the same," they continued. "Spiritually sensitive, diverse, accessible counseling therapy and coaching will remain our foundation.... We are here for you."

Our Story Continues
Two decades-plus later, the Austin Group for Counseling remains "here for you"!
Now with more than 20 on the team, we approach counseling as a group, while never forgetting the individuality of the process. We remain sensitive to your spiritual framework and belief system, as well as your social and cultural background. We meet you where you are ~ and journey with you on the road to peace of mind and heart.
